Character Study
Woah, this book is for real. It’s dark and mysterious and so far out of my element that it reading it was like being transported to a different world. I’m glad I read Race the Darkness though. Xander and Isleen’s story is going to haunt me for days, possibly weeks. And you know what? It’s a great read for October, for right before Halloween.
I made a playlist for Race the Darkness that tried to match the vibe of the book. I wanted it to feel dark, heavy and almost gothic. Luckily, there is lots of good material out there like that. I even found four songs in which the lyrics match Xander and Isleen’s story as well. Enjoy!
